  • Religious Buildings of Los Angeles FD7.
Beginning with the Spanish era, architecture has provided the city and region with many fine religious buildings covering four centuries, from the 18th through the 21st century. Styles have ranged from the Spanish missions to Romanesque, Gothic and Classical revivals to modern. Cathedrals, parish churches, synagogues and RM Schindler’s only church are included on the tour. Many of the buildings are open for interior visits. Some are open only infrequently and others are available only for exterior visits.
